Welcome to the Clovis East High School Choir family! My name is Cameron Clarno and I am the choral director at Clovis East High School. This year promises to be exciting and rewarding! We are currently working with distance learning activities, but are also eagerly looking ahead to when we can safely meet together in person. Please keep checking back at this site often for updates as things are changing rapidly.
The choral music program offers something for everyone! Music is one of the “multiple intelligences” that contributes to the development of each person. Music not only enriches a student’s life, but helps them learn in other areas of education and development. Performing helps students build their confidence, discipline, and self-esteem. Students also learn to work together through team-work and depending on each other. Many life long friendships are built in choir. More importantly, music is an outlet for enjoyment, creativity, and growing! I hope that when students look back at their time with the Timber Wolf Choirs, they will realize that it wasn’t just about making music; It was about enriching lives.
Parents, I am excited and look forward to working with you. We will have many opportunities for you to get involved and help support our program. If you ever have any questions, I am only a phone call or email away. Please do not hesitate to call me at school.
